Volunteer Experiences with Jamaica Bay-Rockaway Parks Conservancy
Our volunteer experiences are curated to accommodate the size, interests, and needs of your team. Each project is unique and addresses the current needs of one of the over 35 parks in Brooklyn and Queens we support in partnership with the National Park Service, New York City Parks and New York State Parks. Past projects have included shoreline clean-ups, painting a mural in a local playground, beach grass and/or tree plantings, marsh island plantings, invasive plant removal, trail building, and much more!
At the Beach Grass level, for your support of the Jamaica Bay-Rockaway Parks Conservancy (JBRPC) of $2,500, you will receive:
An invitation to join a pre-scheduled volunteer experience for up to 25 members of your team;
Acknowledgement on our website, social media posts and electronic newsletter as a sponsor; and
Tour for your group of one of our wonderful parks on the day of your volunteer experience, led by JBRPC staff.
Our parks host a range of recreational opportunities, and our team can help include outdoor activities as part of your day with us. Additionally, parks in Jamaica Bay and the Rockaways offer a unique and exciting connection to nature, collectively hosting over 325 species of birds, 50 species of butterflies, and 100 species of fish, that make for a thrilling and meaningful day out of the office.
To schedule your day with us, please fill out and submit the form below. A member of our team will be in touch with you shortly!
