Jackie Wu
Jacqueline Wu is a marine biologist at the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation. As part of NYSDEC’s Division of Marine Resources in Region 2, Jackie works to conserve the tidal wetlands of NYC by reviewing tidal wetland project applications and investigating potential violations. Jackie has a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources from Cornell University and a Master of Science in Marine Biology from Northeastern University. Prior to joining NYSDEC, she worked mostly in the environmental non-profit world as the wetlab assistant at The River Project and the research coordinator at Randall’s Island Park Alliance. Most recently, she was the stewardship specialist for NYS Office of Parks, Recreation, and Historic Preservation in the NYC region.
