Lisa Baron
Lisa Baron has been a Project Manager within the Civil Works Branch of Programs and Project Management Division, New York District, for more than 17 years. Lisa manages the ecosystem restoration program for the NY District and has more than 32 years of experience managing large-scale ecosystem restoration projects – as well as dredged material management, environmental dredging, remedial investigations, and ecological risk assessment. Ms. Baron served as the Restoration Work Group Chair of the NY/NJ Harbor Estuary Program from 2010 to 2024 coordinating restoration throughout the region with Federal, state, local partners, and NGOs. Prior to joining the NY District, Ms. Baron was a Project Manager with NJDOT’s Office of Maritime Resources and the Division of Environmental Resources, private consulting, and Oak Ridge National Laboratory (U.S. Department of Energy facility). Lisa earned an MS degree in Biology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Biology/Marine Biology from Bloomsburg University.
