Randy Polumbo

Randy Polumbo (b. 1964) is an artist working across sculpture, architecture, and living systems. Based between New York City and Joshua Tree, his practice combines industrial materials, hand-blown glass, metals, salvaged structures, and mycelium to create techno-organic environments that blur the boundary between built and biological worlds. His work often extends into outdoor and public settings, where sculpture becomes immersive, social, and experiential. Recent projects include furniture grown from mycelium, monumental sculptures incorporating found objects and airplane parts, and immersive works using collective meditation and sound to create shared sensory experiences that invite audiences to participate rather than simply observe.
