Ryan Hartley Smith

Ryan Hartley Smith is a Brooklyn-based illustrator and writer. His work celebrates everyday rituals of city life, with a particular focus on LGBTQ+ narratives. Smith's work has appeared in publications such as the New York Times and the Washington Post, and he is a recipient of Gold and Silver medals from the Society of Illustrators. In addition to his professional practice, Smith is an Associate Professor at the MFA Illustration program at the SUNY Fashion Institute of Technology.
